Optionetics in association with Hubb Financial Institute is offering Optionetics students the opportunity to obtain the nationally recognised qualification Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Markets). Enrolment in the diploma is free to Optionetics students and is offered as part of our ongoing commitment to quality financial markets education.

Overview
The Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Markets) qualification provides a foundation for students who are either new to the finance and investment industry or are seeking to broaden their understanding of the industry. It is designed to equip you with underpinning knowledge about the financial markets and enable you to apply the learning’s to a range of different work environments.

Qualification
Upon successful completion of the assessments you will be awarded the:
Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Markets) (FNS51004)

Where the diploma is partially completed a Statement of Attainment covering the assessed units of competency will be issued.

Who should enrol?
You should enrol if you are:
  • looking to enter the finance and investment industry and are seeking a recognised industry qualification
  • currently working in non-advice areas of the finance and investment industry and wish to broaden your industry knowledge
  • a private investor seeking independent assessment in your understanding of the financial markets

Enrolment
Enrolment in the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Markets) is open to all students that are 18 years of age and over. Enrolment intake is open all year round allowing you the flexibility to decide when to commence.

Delivery and Duration
Delivery is via self-paced distance learning using the Optionetics Home Study Course as your learning material. The duration of the diploma is 12 months.

Assessment
Assessment is through a combination of online and written submissions that are scheduled by you at any time prior to their due dates. This provides the flexibility and convenience to complete assessments at a time and place that suits you.

Full support is provided to assist you with your studies. Support is available via phone, email & online discussion forums.

Entry Requirements
Enrolment is open to all fully paid Optionetics students that are 18 years of age and over. Students will require a copy of the Optionetics 2007 Home Study Course, computer and internet access, and have a sound grasp of the English language in order to successfully complete the assessments.
